Here are a few things you should understand

Having a Facebook Pixel and, more importantly, a Conversion API is crucial for charities engaging in online advertising. At a basic level, the Facebook Pixel allows charities to track user interactions on their website and provide valuable data for optimising a campaign. However, as privacy regulations evolve and third-party cookie tracking becomes less reliable, the Conversion API becomes essential.

It allows for direct server-to-server communication between a charities website and Facebook, ensuring more accurate and consistent tracking of conversions and events.

So important to create conversion events correctly, if not it will confuse Meta.

Keep an eye on your CPM. 

You need to spend enough in order to generate enough donations and the algorithm won’t learn from the results that it gets…
